And yes, Matt, she still loathes the feel-good crap that is inspirational sports movies.

About Tara
Due to a severe Peter Pan complex, Tara Sloane is evading her senior year at the U of M with a semester of adventures and frivolity in London and Europe . When she is not busy getting lost or believing in fairies, Tara can be found photo-creeping on everyone and everything with her rather ostentatious Nikon SLR, pondering her quirkyalone-ness (Google it), or singing the wrong words to songs on the radio. Tara once appeared on The Proofread for her sarcastic and oh-so-cathartic tribute to her high school benchwarming days (She realized 3 years too late that the only place one should ever watch “football” is in a pub with a pint).

About Allison
Allison Wickler is now a less recent graduate of a fine collegiate journalism program who should have practiced the piano more diligently as a child. After a brief stint Woodward and Bernstein-ing it in Wisconsin on the lovely shores of Lake Michigan, the grammar goblin and perpetual list-maker is back in the Twin Cities conquering digital media. Otherwise, she’ll try to develop some hobbies and will relish her heated underground parking accommodations every time it snows.
Oh, and she's since given up trying to get a submission posted on textsfromlastnight.com—apparently she just isn’t ridiculous enough. Whatever.
About Sarah
Sarah Steadland is trying to figure out how to be an architect, novelist, humanitarian, TV writer, journalist, socialite, and news anchor all in one lifetime. Maybe blogging is the answer? She is a very devoted consumer of anything entertainment-y and talks about Hollywood movers and shakers as if she knows them. Along with writing for The Proofread, Sarah studies architecture and literature at the University of Minnesota and hibernates in the winter. Someday, once she has come up with a cool pseudonym, Ms. Steadland plans on competing with her fellow Proofreaders for the top spot on the N.Y. Times bestseller list.

About Kuehl
Matt Kuehl is your typical brown-hair, blue-eyed boy that has been endowed with the soul of Charles Bronson. As two souls sharing one body, Matt and Charlie travel the world solving maladies and conundrums the only way they know how: through vigilantism, writing, and a sock filled with quarters. Matt Kuehl is an original co-founder of the University of Minnesota's Premiere Podcast, The Proofread; he currently resides in northern Japan where he teaches the youth to "stick it to the man", English style.

About Sharkey
Why, hello! My name is John. What's yours?
Mmm, I see. Yeah, at least the music's good. Who do you know here?
Ah, no shit? Yeah, we've known each other for... a while, at least. I'm going to go grab a drink; you need anything?
Right on. I'm having the gin. Let's take a walk--then I don't have to carry two cups.
Yeah, I did the English major thing. Oh shit, this is a good song. Someone has taste.
Oh, the Proofread thing. Right. Yeah, I was one of the hosts, back in the day when it plodded along in podcast form. Matt and I, right. I've got a good feeling about the essay-of-the-week setup now.
Alright, I gotta jet. Stay in touch; I'll get you my email: jsharkey(dot)proofread(at)gmail(dot)com.
